Now our 3rd stay at Parterre Cottage & as usual we found it spotlessly clean with everything included you could want for a weeks stay. The dogs enjoyed themselves with the varied walks right from the door & we found 2 great pubs we hadn't visited before in the locality which again proved to be dog friendly as all the pubs we have visited in North Norfolk seem to be. Having the log burner proved a real treat on the cold nights & made Parterre a real "home from home". We never hesitate to recommend it to our friends. — Chris & Jayne Robinson, 10 Jan 2018

Just returned from a week in this lovely cosy cottage with my husband, two adult daughters and small dog. It is welcoming and spacious with everything you need for a holiday. The lounge/diner is comfortable & spacious with sofa, armchairs, TV and dining table. The lobby between kitchen and lounge was ideal for the dog's bed! We enjoyed having two bathrooms (one upstairs and one down) with choice of shower or bath.
The cottage has a lovely garden wrapped around it but we were unable to take advantage of this due to the awful weather! However we found that the heating is very efficient!
The cottage is ideally situated for visits including Holt, Blakeney, Cromer and Hunstanton - all of which we enjoyed despite the howling gale and freezing cold May weather!
I hope we can return sometime to enjoy more of the area.

Parterre cottage is an excellent holiday let equipped with everything you could need, including a folder with details of kitchen appliances ie microwave and local restaurants and take aways. All kitchen cookware is available with utensils. The entire cottage was immaculate, the beds comfortable, the downstairs shower was powerful. The dogs enjoyed the garden, we explored the local area and then relaxed in homely feel of the cottage. We found the neighbours were friendly and the walks beautiful. I would not hesitate to book this cottage again and would definitely recommend it to others. :) — Sharon, 23 May 2015
As we drove up to Parterre Cottage our first thought was what a pretty little place. Not a bit of it! Inside is a spacious well laid and comfortable home.

Entrance to the cottage is via a stable door at the side of the property into a well designed kitchen. And everything works!!! To the left just inside the back door is a small lobby with plenty of useful brochures on a sideboard. Go through to a very spacious combined dining and living room. The dining table seats 6 comfortably and the living area is very welcoming with an open fireplace, comfy sofa, chairs and a large television.

From the lobby area the quirky staircase leads up to two double bedrooms and one single. Good magnifying mirror in main bedroom (essential for ladies to put on their make up). Should you need it there is a put up cot. There is an attractive bathroom on the first floor and a good shower room on the ground floor beyond the kitchen.

Outside to the rear is a pretty patio garden, a lawn at the front. The long drive takes at least three cars. The road is very quiet and a few minutes’ walk away is a large playing field for doggy walks and for teenagers to kick a football around.

Hindringham is well placed for trips to nearby Holt, many excellent pubs, restaurants, art galleries, lovely walks and, slightly further afield, stately homes.

We had a brilliant time and cannot wait for a return visit.

Spent a wonderful week with my husband, 3 teenage children and dog in this lovely comfortable cottage. Felt it met all our needs, especially the wifi for the children. Would have loved to have used the Log Burner but lucky with the weather and used the table and chairs outside quite a lot. We felt the cottage was well situated for us as we love Holkham and Brancaster and spent most days on the beach and going on long dog walks. Highly recommended. — Sally Belcher, 26 Sep 2014
Stayed at the cottage mid September for 4 nights. The place is fantastically equipped and a real home from home. Although Hindringham itself doesn't have a huge amount of amenities, it is a quick and easy drive to all the main points of interest and beauty along the North Norfolk coastline. We followed a number of the recommendations in the info booklet provided in the cottage for meals, and for visiting beaches. A fantastic stay and lovely peaceful location. — The Vollers, 25 Sep 2014
A great location - away from the busy towns and very peaceful and rural. It was particularly lovely to sit out in the evening and watch the stars come out with a glass of wine or two. The accommodation is perfect for couples or a small family and very clean and well thought out. We were a short drive away from the beach with good restaurants and pubs close by.
There were useful tips on good places to eat nearby provided inside the accommodation also. The cottage itself is cosy, newly decorated and fitted out to a very high standard making it perfect for a relaxing holiday or weekend away. Through the door is a bright refreshing kitchen with plenty of natural light which then leads to a large and open dining and living area. There is a dining table making it perfect for enjoying meals whilst the living area holds a sofa and armchair, TV and a wood burning stove (which received plenty of use). The downstairs shower room is new and includes a WC and a washing machine! 3 bedrooms are found at the property, 2 double bedrooms and a single bedroom. The main double bedroom has plenty of space along with built in wardrobes and a chest of drawers. Now for my favourite part of the holiday... The upstairs bathroom complete with roll top bath. This was a real treat... I LOVE relaxing and what way is better, after a day of walking and sight seeing, to relax than a glass of bubbly in bubbles - heaven! My husband, being a plumber, was impressed with the powerful shower downstairs. All bedrooms hold plenty of storage and hold views of the back garden making it ideal for children. The cottage has a beautiful well kept garden with a picnic bench and a BBQ is available, making it ideal for meals or drinks in the summer or early autumn evenings. The parking outside cottage is not an issue at all. There was also wi-fi, which for us was an added bonus! The owners are very friendly and open to suggestions, as we noticed a recommendation book, it was clear they had acted on on them immediately. All in all, a brilliant place and we will definitely be returning!

A lovely cottage, that is fully equipped with everything that you need. The wood burning stove makes the cottage feel really cosy! Added bonus, it has off street parking. The cottage is in a great location. I would highly recommend it and will certainly be hiring it again. Elaine Beaton — Elaine Beaton, 04 Sep 2014
Myself, daughter and two young grandsons have spent a week at this lovely cottage. The boys absolutely loved it - the garden (with gates closed) was secure and we could leave them to play happily. They also loved the quirkiness of this cottage, having plenty of room for all their toys as well. A wonderful hot powerful shower and a lovely restful bath did wonders for the grown-ups! A very comfortable stay - thank you. — Lynne Hart, 28 Aug 2014
Just packing after spending a lovely restful week in ths delightful cottage. Great location for visiting local attractions. Enjoyed good food in many pubs, the Anchor at Morston, Wiveton Bell, George at Cley, Globe Inn at wells. Good walks with our Labrador at Wells and Holkam. Would definitely return in the future. Just a shame we didn't see a lot of sun! — Lynne underwood, 20 Jun 2014
A really delightful, welcoming and well-appointed cottage in a lovely garden. We would thoroughly recommend it as a base to unwind and explore the joys of Norfolk. — Helen and John Macario, 16 Jun 2014
Have just had the most glorious weekend at this absolutely delightful cottage. Location couldn't be more ideal, nicely nestled between the beautiful Brancaster bay and Holkham to the west and quaint seaside towns of Sheringham Cromer to the east. The cottage is as delightful and delicate on the inside as it is on the outside. Very modern yet homely and tastefully decorated throughout with all the amenities you could ever require. Ideal place to recharge your batteries on a long weekend, only wish we could have stayed the whole week. — Tom Connall, 20 May 2014

We really loved our stay in Parterre cottage and will definitely be going again. It was very comfortable and well appointed. I especially liked the roll top bath what luxury. There were also some lovely country walks from the cottage. Very enjoyable — Libbi MacGregor, 20 Mar 2014
Had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend at this gorgeous cottage. There was everything the 4 of us (plus 2 dogs) could want and the cottage would comfortably accommodate another adult or child. Easy to reach Holt and the beaches. Will definitely be booking for longer next time! — Helen Smith, 02 Mar 2014
This lovely holiday cottage in Hindringham, Norfolk is ideally situated for exploring the excellent North Norfolk Coast, only 7miles from Wells Next the Sea.

The cottage has a nice home from home feel, with all the equipment supplied to allow a stress free self catering holiday. The cottage has been recently renovated, but maintains lots of traditional features throughout.

The cottage is advertised as dog friendly, with secure back garden.

The cottage was very clean, with central heating and a log burner as well - this is a great feature this time of year!!!

Highly recommended. Thank you.
